My Obsessions with Pies

So, for my birthday, clear back in November, my mother-in-law taught me how to make pies.... which was always sort of a mystery to me since I cant ever remember my mom or grandmothers ever making one. Anyways it's started what G calls my 'Pie Obsession'.
These Pics aren't in order of dates so we'll just start with the first one....

I made this deliciously looking (at least i hope it looks good) Pumkin Caramel pie for Christmas Eve. For some reason on the recipe i skipped over the part where it says to add sugar.... : ) .... not a good thing to do. My family was very polite in eating their pieces but were also very (VERY) quiet while doing it (never a good sign with my family) Anyways it was somewhat of a disaster!
Here we have the Apple Pie that i made for Benny's (my brother) birthday. It turned out alot better than the pie you saw first. You'll notice my neice Natalee sneaking bites of the leftovers.

Here she is again, showing me her new princess shoes!

Here is my first attempt at pie making (on my birthday). Carolyn was right next to me the whole time so of course it turned out good. : ) Before it was put in the oven I put swirlies all over the top.... now it kinda looks like worms.... but it tasted delicious!

I am seriously impressed jo!! Those pies look delicious and professional! ... that's pretty funny about the sugar-less one though :)

Jenn you're so good to us!!! We wouldn't have any pies to eat if you weren't around...sugar or no sugar. : ) It's OK you just wanted it to be more healthful for us. You were just looking out for our well being.
